The Gheser family has managed the hotel for the past 50 years. We care about the family and we know what families need when they travel.
If you want a vacation that can satisfy the whole family, Lavarone and the Alpe Cimbra will live up to everyone’s needs. Many kilometers of easy slopes to learn how to ski but also hard tracks for the more experienced, activities for children and a wide range of physical activities and sports.
Winter in Lavarone
Lavarone is provided with50 km of downhill slopes all covered by a system of artificial snow.Single ski pass for the whole ski resort of the Alpe Cimbra ski rentals, ski schools, and mountain chalets – only 1 kilometer away from the hotel. In Bertoldi, Neveland offers you the chance to go snow tubing, to have fun on little sleds, and a stone’s throw away you will find the new ice kart track, too.
Near our beautiful lake you will also see an ice rink with all related services. For the brave ones, ice skating on the frozen lake will definitely be an unforgettable experience.
Additionally, the cross-country center of Millegrobbre, known for its beautiful natural setting, will delight all cross-country skiers.
Snowshoeing or going for a beautiful hike, either solo or with skilled guides, or alsorelaxing at the Wellness Center of Lavarone Cappella (just a few steps away from our hotel) are also valid alternatives which we suggest to our guests.
Lastly, during your winter vacation, you may also visit the local, traditional Christmas markets which are located in the old hamlets (so called “frazioni vecie”) as well as in the nearby town of Trento, or in the village of Levico, too.
Summer in Lavarone
Our beautiful plateau boasts countless paths and trails, from the easiest to the most challenging ones, which will please you with wonderful hikes, Nordic walking itineraries with experienced instructors, and over 100 km mountain bike trails.
Visits to the numerous historical sites of WWI such as Belvedere Fort, inside which a multimedia museum is now located, but also other fortresses, trenches, and so on.
400 m away from our hotel, the wide Palù Park will give you and your family carefree moments.
Climbing walls, riding stables, archery, tennis courts offering courses for all levels, multi-purpose courts for five-a-side soccer (also at night) or volleyball, indoor or outdoor. Afitness gymwith full equipment, two official-size grass soccer fields perfect for pre-season camps. Adrenaline lovers can try the new downhill tracks along with the modern pump track. For those who prefer to relax and suntan, the two beach clubs by the lake may be right for you. The two lidos are equipped with every comfort and are just 15 minutes away on foot from out hotel. Lake Lavarone used to be Sigmund Freud’s vacation spot and now boasts the European recognition of the blue flag.

We know what you need for your family vacation, and we know it because ours is a big family: seven brothers and one sister (that’s me!) and over ten nephews and nieces.
Our hotel owns a playground available to our guests. Moreover, you will find one of the biggest equipped playground for kids of Trentino less than 2 km away — Palù Park.
